hey everyone!

for about 4 years I've been processing my photographs on a small 12" Powerbook G4. I recently discovered that my laptop is getting old. I can't even run 2 programs at once anymore... which kind of is depressing.

So I've looked up on the internet to buy me a new macintosh but they quite expensive I must say. For the same price I could get a reaaly good pc wich would be 2 times better than the mac.
so I'm kind of stuck... should I stay with macintosh or should I go for a High end Pc. and if I go for pc should I use Intel or AMD.
I would really much appreciated if you guys could help me out here.
